Dominoes are played with a Double-Six pack of 28 tiles called "BONES" with
'PIPS" (or spots) ranging from 0/0 (blank/blank) to 6/6. Players are dealt
7 bones with the rest of the pack being called the BONEYARD. You will be
playing against the Computer
The primary objective of Dominoes is to be the first to play all his/her
tiles and go out or have the lowest pip count left in their hand when play
ends. You and the Computer in turn lay tiles in a long chain, matching
adjacent ends.
The large Dominoe in the display shows both ends of the chain. You need
merely key in the numbers of the tile you wish to play and it will be
placed for you (DO NOT PRESS ENTER!)
Your Dominoes will be displayed along the bottom of the screen. The highest
double (6/6,5/5, etc) sets first and the computer will determine that
automatically and make the move without your intervention
The last 2 bones in the BoneYard are FROZEN (can not be played). If You or the
Computer can not play a tile then a tile must be drawn from the BoneYard until
a tile is drawn that can be played or until all allowable tiles have been
depleted from the BoneYard. If the BoneYard is frozen you must (P)ass to the
Computer. The Computer will likewise (P)ass to you if it has no moves to make.
Two (2) consecutive (P)asses ends the game. This will result in a TIE game and
the one with the HIGEST pip count wins the difference between the pip count in
both hands.
If you have the HIGH DOUBLE to start a game, you will be awarded a 25 point
BONUS, PROVIDED YOU WIN THE GAME. If you lose the game, the points will NOT
be deducted from your score.
If YOUR tile play results in both ends of the Master Tile totaling 5 or 10,
then the points will be accumulated separately and added to YOUR score
PROVIDED YOU WIN THE GAME. They will NOT be deducted if you lose the game.
Points won by you, the player, are ADDED to your Hi-Score, while points won by
the Computer are DEDUCTED from your Hi-Score.
If you QUIT a game, before it is completed, you lose the points in your hand!!
